Over $52 million raised since 1991! The Rodman Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth focused social-service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The Ride for Kids and its affiliated agencies fundraise year-round, culminating with The Ride event, a 25, 50, and 100-mile noncompetitive cycling tour, each fall. Our mission is to have every kid in our community live as we would want our own kids to live.Affiliated agencies along with other beneficiaries, raise funds through corporate sponsorships and ridership. In turn, the Ride matches those funds at a rate of 10% when the agencies meet their predetermined fundraising goal.
The expenses associated with the Ride for Kids are less than 3% of the total revenue, and they are all underwritten. This means that when you donate to the Ride for Kids, every single dollar of your donation will directly benefit at-risk kids!
The Ride for Kids has also grown to include other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of at- risk kids. These initiatives are funded through separate fundraising, and include Celebration for Kids, the Marilyn Rodman Theatre for Kids program, Disney for Kids, and Car Donations for Kids.
