On Saturday, September 24, 2011, I will be participating in the 21st annual Rodman Ride for Kids event. The Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The Ride serves as a catalyst by providing over 40 agencies an opportunity to raise funds through this event. Last year, the Ride raised over $8 million and we hope to exceed that amount this year. The Ride has raised over $52 million since its inception in 1991.

I have pledged to raise (your pledge amount) for (agency name) through this charitable event and your donation, of any amount, will help me to reach my goal. I have become involved in the Ride for Kids because...(tell your personal story).
